Still window shopping here on a Saturday morning. I know these aren't hi-fi, but I'd love to have a pair to use as monitors for my (rock) band---if they were only closer to here I'd drive to "rescue" them. Anyone ever heard the 617-8A that these use? A lower fi 12" 604 type speaker maybe?? Their limited bandwidth (80-15,000 hz) would still make great stage monitors IMHO. Seems like a great deal for these if in nice shape--for any members in that part of the country at least.....
